Principal doesn’t listen to parents and many good teachers have left the school. School principal need to listen to parents and experience teachers who wishes to have more homework for kids and some moral studies as the number of items such as school jumpers, drink bottles, etc ‘lost at school is appalling’. Also Laburnum was great at Sports but now it isn’t due to new principal - used to have inter school golf and tennis but not anymore. Communication of extra curricular activities is also poor

Bad communication and experience teachers. If your child don’t fall within the bell curve he/ she will struggle with no extra help from teachers.

Bad leadership, administration, prioritization and numeracy teaching. As with all schools has handful of amazing teachers, many good/ok to bad teachers. If you are lucky enough to get one of the good teachers, you'll be ok. Rest of the time you'll be exposed to poor communication and lack of internal support processes for dealing with issues effectively. School leadership is apathetic or struggling to cope with numbers. From what I've observed, not suitable if your child does not fall within the bell curve, i.e needs extension/stimulation or extra help/attention. Poorly resourced for music/art/Italian classes. Students miss out on each of these for one term each year. Yet there seems to be enough funding to offer P.E twice a week every term.
